TAIPEI, Taiwan, June 8, 2012 –AURORA Corp. (Ticker: 2373 TT / 2373 TW) today announced consolidated net revenue forMay 2012 of NT$1.07 billion, down8% from April and up 2% from the same month last year. For the first five months of the year, Aurora reported consolidated net revenue of NT$5.56 billion, an8% increase from the year-ago period.
Parent-only revenue in May increased 3%fromAprilto NT$242 million and was flat from the same month a year ago. For the first five months of the year, parent-only revenue of NT$1.16billionwas flat compared with the same period a year ago.
In China, due to decreased export orders for office equipment, net revenue slipped by 8% to 114 million RMBfrom April yet still posted a 4% growth from the same month last year. By business segment, the OA (office automation) revenue fell by 4%, while the office furniture and equipment revenue increased by6% and 10% year-over-year. For the first five months of the year, China net revenue totaled 574million RMB, up 5% from a year ago, and the OA, office furniture and equipment segments registered year-over-year changes of 1%, 20% and -13%, respectively.
